Job:  SCCM Administrator

Position:  Full Time - Direct Hire / Permanent

Location: Buffalo, NY 14210

Position: Full Time, Temporary Contract Hire
Location: Amherst, NY (Buffalo)  
Compensation: $18 + Parking is Provided + Must have Auto

Schedule:  M-F (8-5pm)

*Great Entry Level Computer/IT Job or Internship*

Actions and Results:

  • Install and network PCs and laptops
  • Provide daily updates to Project Coordinator
  • Provide daily inventory of what was installed and what was removed.
  • Perform hardware and desktop troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common computer software and hardware problems
  • Repair, installs and upgrades computer hardware components as required
  • Ensure compliance with company technical and quality standards
  • Escalate problems within pre-established parameters
  • Maintain effective communication with internal Call Dispatchers and with customers
  • Complete required documentation for all Work Orders
  • May be required to do some after hours and weekend installs as scheduled


  • Basic working knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware and software
  • Some knowledge of desktop hardware and operating systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop or possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop or possess strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of utility tools, including virus applications and signatures
  • Basic knowledge of workstation backups and restores
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers & internal staff
  • A+ Certification preferred
  • Familiarity with Lenovo, Dell, and HP PCs and their hardware components
  • Familiarity with Windows 10 and Office365

Needed:  SCCM Administrator
Position:  Full-time, Direct-hire / Permanent
Location: Buffalo, NY 14210 - Downtown
Compensation:  $55-62K + Generous Benefits, Profit Sharing, Training & Certifications

Schedule: First Shift 8am-5pm. Must be flexible (occasionally) about scheduling (24/7 NOC)

General Description:
Our SCCM server administrators will be responsible for managing a client onsite computer
operations data center.  It is a team environment that requires a strong work ethic, and the ability to learn many technologies simultaneously. Occasionally you will need to have the flexibility to cover additional shifts (if needed) as our data center team works 24x7 - every day.

Core Competencies:

  • Windows Server Core with Exchange Server 2019 
  • Unified Messaging feature of Exchange
  • Azure Cloud Voicemail
  • Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
  • MDM (Mobile Device Management) using Intune (Microsoft 365)
  • Solid working knowledge - with many of the broad suite of IT Solutions utilized under Microsoft SCCM 1706 R2 with Hotfix (or higher) for Windows 10
  • Microsoft SQL Server operation and management (MS Windows Server 2003 – 2019 and SQL Server SP1)
  • Experience with DNS, DHCP, Exchange Server, Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Datacenter administration and management
  • Build and deploy remote images for desktop, laptops, tablets and servers
  • Experience using SCCM to package and patching applications
  • Intuitive understanding of ERPs – with great problem solving skills
  • Utilization of monitoring and controlling hosts and/or client server systems
  • Creation and distribution of reports to all corporate departments and sites
  • Develop and execute of post deployment testing procedures
  • Monitoring all systems to ensure availability of online applications, network components reporting, and adherence to production batch schedules
  • Coordination of all off-site rotations of backup files and participation in all internalreporting practices


  • Be a team player who is able to solve complex technical problems in new and existing systems
  • Ensure compliance with company technical and quality standards (including best-practice and ITIL)
  • Understand business situations and problem statements and find resolutions using tools provided
  • Work both independently and as a team
  • Complete additional IT tasks as assigned

Requirements – the candidate must be:

  • Willing to work an occasional flexible schedule
  • Able and willing to lift 65 pound
  • Presently authorized to work for any employer in the US
  • Able to pass a criminal record background investigation
  • Able to pass a Department of Motor Vehicles background check
  • Able to pass a drug test
  • Willing to help with other IT projects when asked
